Job summary
The Promotions Associate is responsible for planning and building displays throughout the store that are visually appealing and maximize impact on a day-to-day basis. This role involves store maintenance such as hole checks, stocking shelves, merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the promotional items are placed and priced appropriately in the feature areas.
• Execute merchandise layout changes (set-up, maintenance, and removal of displays, signage, etc.).
• Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
• Maintain the feature ends, side panels, and platform displays by replenishing as required.
• Remove stock belonging to a different location and replaces damaged or expired items when necessary.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Ensure inventory accuracy, and identify and report low stock levels.
• Ensure that product and overstock is placed in the appropriate locations.
• Report stolen and damaged goods to Management.
• Assist in meeting store audit performance requirements.
• Complete necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements / Skills
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS RELEVANT RETAIL EXPERIENCE.
• Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks according to instructions
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Result-oriented and customer-oriented
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
