Job summary
The Product Assembler assembles products for customers and for display purposes according to manufacturer”s specifications. The role includes items to be assembled (e.g., gas grills, bicycles, exercise equipment, ready to assemble furniture, lawn mowers, patio furniture, snow blowers, trailers, etc.) and product repairs if required.

Responsibilities:
• Assemble products as required including bicycles
• Resolve assembly problems to meet specifications.
• Ensure all labour and parts claims are processed.
• Order missing or broken parts.
• Ensure quality assurance by inspecting assembled products.
• Report any defective products to Manager.
• Perform product repairs, as required.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements / Skills
• Experience required
• Mechanically inclined and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Proficient in using various hand tools (e.g., power screwdrivers, impact wrench and ratchets)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends)
• Result-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
