Job summary

The Office Associate is responsible for conducting administrative and office work for the store. This role involves handling and protecting sensitive and confidential information on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accuracy and reliability of store systems and reports.
  • Support office administration through data entry, documentation, and record management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and serve as a backup at the front-end/cash area when required.
  • Assist with monitoring business metrics and supporting management with reports and tasks.
  • Troubleshoot basic system or administrative issues and support staff inquiries.

Requirements / Skills

MUST BE AVAILABLE 9:00AM – 2:00PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY

• Experience in an office role
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Results-oriented and team-oriented: Open to work in other areas of the store
• Proficient in office software systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, payroll systems and bookkeeping
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Experience in retail sales, execution and operations (asset)
