Job summary
The Automotive Service Installer works in a fast-paced Automotive Service Centre environment. The role includes oil and lube service, tire installation, tire rotation and balancing and light vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:
• Perform customer vehicle basic maintenance and repairs, as requested (lube, oil and filter changes / remove, install, rotate and balance tires / basic repairs, maintenance and inspections that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automobile Technician, etc.).
• Remove, replace, and reinstall vehicle components as directed, use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Follow shop procedures, safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Report unsafe vehicles to management.
• Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Automobile Technicians and Back Parts Window Associate.
• Accuratly complete estimates and written vehicle reports as required.
• Communicate clearly with technicians, service advisors and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements / Skills
• Valid driver”s license for province of employment. Aptitude for vehicles systems is compulsory.
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days & week-ends, available 8-6 7 days a week)
• Approachable and friendly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Knowledge of current automobile technology
• Ability to work effectively with computerized systems
• Results-oriented
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of COSTAR (asset)

Salary: $19.00- $25.00 Per Hour
